How I Work / Therapy
Therapy with me is a collaborative process, shaped around your needs and pace. Sessions offer a confidential, non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about what’s going on for you and begin to make sense of your experiences.
My work is informed by relational, psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioural approaches. This means we may explore how past experiences and early relationships influence present-day patterns, alongside developing practical ways to understand and manage thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.
Sessions take place weekly at the same time and last 50 minutes. Therapy is led by what you bring, and there is no pressure to talk about anything before you feel ready. Some sessions may feel reflective and exploratory, while others may be more focused or practical, depending on what feels most helpful for you.
I currently offer online therapy via secure video call. I work within clear professional boundaries and in line with the BACP Ethical Framework. Everything you share is treated as confidential, with the usual ethical exceptions which would be discussed openly if relevant.
Therapy is not about being “fixed”, but about being supported to better understand yourself and move towards change at your own pace.
